Terms and Conditions:
By receiving this email, you agree to the terms and conditions in the confirmation email unless you state otherwise in reply.
1. Booking & Payment
a. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
b. Customers must provide accurate details during booking.
c. Payments must be made in INR as per company policy.
Booking Advance:
a. 40% of total cost is required for confirmation. Remaining advance must be paid shortly.
Balance Payment:
a. Must be cleared before service start/check-in or as per booking confirmation. Failure may result in cancellation with applicable charges.
b. Payment Methods: Bank transfer, credit/debit cards, online gateways, or cash (confirm before paying).
Package Tours:
a. Delayed/non-payment of any component (hotel, transport, meals, etc.) may affect the entire package.
b. HALA Tourism may change itinerary, hotels, or transport if required, with prior intimation.
c. We organize tours but do not own/control hotels, airlines, transport, etc. We take care to choose reliable partners.
d. Sightseeing is complimentary. No extra charge if you add visits, and no deductions if you skip any. Delays due to traffic are not our responsibility.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
a. Cancellations must be in writing and follow our policy.
b. Refunds, if applicable, are processed as per policy.
c. Peak season, festival, or government holiday bookings are non-refundable.
d. If customers choose their own hotels not affiliated with HALA, no refunds apply.
e. Changes in persons, accommodations, or itinerary after confirmation will alter package price.
International Cancellation:
a. 60+ days before arrival – No charge.
b. 50 days – 20% of invoice.
c. 42 days – 40% of invoice.
d. 35 days – 60% of invoice.
e. Less than 28 days – 100% of invoice.
Domestic Cancellation:
a. 30 days – 15% of 40% package cost.
b. 15 days – 40% of 40% package cost.
c. 7 days – 70% of 40% package cost.
d. 3 days – 100% of full package cost.
Note: No refund for unused services or cancellations due to natural calamity, weather, government orders, strikes, transport/accommodation suspension, or any situation beyond company’s control. Package splitting is not allowed.
3. Tickets & Travel
Train tickets:
a. booked on request, subject to IRCTC rules. We are not liable for delays/cancellations. Refunds (after cancellation charges) are issued in 4–5 working days.
b. Flight fares vary; we are not responsible for price changes, delays, or cancellations. Name changes/reschedules attract airline charges. All updates will be shared to your contact.
4. Travel Documents
a. Customers must carry valid passports, visas, and required documents.
b. We are not liable for non-compliance with immigration, customs, or state requirements.
5. Travel Insurance
a. Strongly recommended for cancellations, medical needs, baggage loss, or other emergencies.
b. HALA Tourism is not responsible for costs due to lack of insurance.
6. Changes & Amendments
a.HALA Tourism reserves the right to alter bookings, itinerary, accommodation, or transport if required. Alternatives will be offered whenever possible.
7. Sightseeing & Activities
Goa packages:
a. self-drive vehicles provided; guides available at extra cost. Theft, accidents, or damages are customer’s responsibility.
b. Water sports are approved by Goa Tourism but involve risks. Participation is at your own risk.
Other tours:
a. Activities are customer-arranged onsite. We are not responsible for accidents, disasters, animal attacks, lost belongings, injuries, or missed persons.
8. Limitation of Liability
a. We are not liable for losses, injuries, delays, or inconveniences caused by third parties, natural disasters, civil unrest, or other factors beyond control.
b. Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the affected service.
9. Customer Conduct:
a. Customers must follow local laws and customs.
b. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings if behavior is disruptive, illegal, or unsafe.
Jurisdiction: Courts at Madurai only.
10. Intellectual Property
a. HALA Tourism retains all rights over website content, logos, and trademarks.
b. Customers may not use or distribute company intellectual property without prior written consent.
